Past Research

The Centre for Drug Misuse Research began undertaking research in 1994 and over this time has carried out some of the most challenging research on Scotland’s drugs problem. During our period of work at Glasgow University we received significant funding from the major UK Research Councils, from the UK and Scottish Government, from charities and international bodies. Through the application of the principles of rigorous research our aim has always been to increase understanding of drug related behaviours and problems in society and to evidence means to tackle their solution.
